Allagash Brewing Company asked us to expand their Foliage Report Beer from a single brew into a seasonal series that could evolve yearly. We created the look and flexible system for the canned expansion that showed Allagash they could make something new while staying under their established brand’s family tree.

Solution
The Report Series highlights the four seasons in Allagash’s (and ours, too) home state, Maine, and we started with creating new, hand-drawn illustrations. Each design is meant to blend into the world around you and immerse you in Maine’s four distinct seasons. The four cans are grounded in real places, like Summer Report’s Higgins Beach, which highlights fragrant rugosa roses and worn wooden boardwalks.
Details like the field guide style notebook are a way to tell the sipper more about the taste and make it feel like a moment of travel exploration. Learning more about the world around you and seeing the landscape as you turn the can is vital to immersing the audience and transporting them to another beautiful day in New England.
