Kalamata’s Kitchen started as one children’s book with a simple message: to encourage kids and their parents to be curious about food and embrace unfamiliar ingredients and flavors.
When one book turned into many, they needed support transforming their book series into an immersive culinary experience. We were thrilled to collaborate with the Kalamata’s Kitchen team on creative design, including branding, book covers, merchandise design, and mailer development.
We created their colorfully branded box, packed with curated tools to foster culinary curiosity. Items included a branded apron, canvas bag, kid-sized whisk and masher, and a memory game featuring exotic ingredients in different languages.
The integrated brand that we established retained the original storytelling’s essence and expanded it into a multifaceted experience that encourages ongoing exploration of taste and culinary traditions. This approach turned Kalamata’s Kitchen into an immersive journey for kids and adults alike, encouraging them to keep exploring the world of food.
